Common controls

Movement

You can move your character with default WASD on Keyboard, or the Left Joystick on controller.

Moving slowly

There may be times when you need to move at a slower pace.

On Keyboard, this can be achieved by holding CTRL.

On Controller, move the Joystick variable distances from the centre to find the right pace.

Sprinting

Note that Sprinting requires Stamina, which depletes as you sprint. If all your Stamina is used, you will need to wait a little bit longer for your Stamina to reach its maximum.

Interacting

To Interact with different Characters or Objects, press default E on Keyboard, or A on Controller.

Some Objects have further actions that will appear, and can be activated by holding default SHIFT on Keyboard, or Right Trigger on Controller, then pressing default E on Keyboard, or A on Controller.

Focusing

Since the Garden can be dense, The Garden Path uses a Focus system to help you navigate the plants around you more effectively.

Gathering Focus

When pressing the Focus button once, your character will 'Gather' the area in front of them. This is helpful if you want to gather information about an area quickly, or perform an action on multiple plants.

Selective Focus

Holding the Focus button will instead enable Selective Focus. A Magnifying Glass icon will appear, which you can move over the different plants. This can be used to select just one specific plant at a time.
