Songfish are acquired by Fishing with a Rod.

What are Songfish

Songfish are a unique resource in The Garden Path that have very helpful qualities. Most fish in the Garden have a song, their song affects the Garden when the Garden hears it.

Catch a fish with a song, go to your Inventory and release it ('Use' prompt when you hover over it in your inventory), and see what effect it has. Songfish are also good Trading resources.

Bark Fish	This fish's song will bring nearby trees to full health.
Beech Fish	This fish's song will bring forth a couple of beech seedlings from the earth.
Birch Fish	This fish's song will bring forth a couple of birch seedlings from the earth.
Bloom Fish	This fish's song encourages all nearby flora to bloom.
Blossom Fish	This fish's song will cast the Gardenin spring weather for a time.
Bluebell Fish	This fish's song will bring forth a bluebell seedling from the earth.
Carry-me Fish	This fish's song will carry you away, back to the shrine.
Chestnut Fish	This fish's song will bring forth a couple of chestnut seedlings from the earth.
Common Fish	This fish is quiet. Maybe it yearns for a song.
Crocus Fish	This fish's song will bring forth a couple of crocus seedlings from the earth.
Daffodil Fish	This fish's song will bring forth a few daffodil seedlings from the earth.
Dusk Fish	This fish's song will immediately cast the Garden in moonlight.
Efflorescence Fish	This fish's song will encourage all flora in an acre to bloom.

Gold Fish	While not made of gold, this fish's shape and tone are surely almost as valuable.
